The course is designed for people who have no experience behind the bar whatsoever. You will learn everything from scratch and develop a complete bartending skillset before you set foot behind a bar.
Even if you have some basic bartending experience, you will greatly benefit from this course. It’s perfect for novice bartenders and servers who want to fully develop their product knowledge and improve their level in bartending & mixology.
If you are just a cocktail enthusiast and generally interested about alcohol, its production, and everything that’s behind a good drink, you will enjoy this course from start to finish. You will get a better understanding about each spirit category (how rum is made; why tequila can be made only in Mexico; what’s the difference between single malt and single cask whiskey; or what’s the difference between different styles of gin), as well as production of wines and beers. After completing the course you’ll be able to order and enjoy any kind of drink with a new level of appreciation, as well as mix any classic cocktail at your next house cocktail party!
When you enroll in the program, you’ll get immediate access to the training on our e-learning platform. You simply login to your account where you can see all the courses you have purchased. Open one of them and start learning. Each course is divided into modules for a better structure, and quizzes at the end of each module to track your progress. The classes are designed to teach you theory and principles first, giving you the tools to making cocktails. The content is a combination of text, graphics, printable study notes, and short videos where needed.
You have a lifetime access to the course! It’s yours to keep and come back to it whenever you need to refresh your memory or get an inspiration for your new cocktail creations.
After completing the course, you will be able to download a printable certificate by Alchemy Bartending School from your membership account.

Each module includes a test based on the main learning objectives of the subject. To obtain the certificate, you must complete each lesson of the course and pass the exams with a minimum score of 70%. You have the option to re-take each test with 10% points total cut.
It's best to take the course at your own pace. But we recommend going through 2-3 modules per week and finish the entire program in 4-5 weeks, so you have enough time to digest all the new information and combine it with practice. It’s rated at 33 hours.
To get the most out of this course, we recommend adding a bartending kit that includes all the tools you will need, such as shaker, jigger, bar spoon, cocktail strainers, free-flow pourers, and mixing glass (Premium Set). You can purchase our complete sets – Starter Set or Premium Set at a discount when you enroll in the course. You can complete your package with a hard copy of the Course Textbook, and Cocktail Book in practical A5 format that you can keep behind the bar.
